REG Architects, Inc. announces our new designs for the Diocese of Palm Beach for St. Jude’s Catholic Church Multi Purpose Building in Boca Raton, FL. Once completed the new facility will house a banquet hall that seats up to 400 people, featuring a large dome ceiling highlighted with a 60” chandelier. There is a grand foyer complete with a stone fireplace and in addition there is a complete catering kitchen and parish administrative offices. Overall, the building is approximately 21,000 SF and will begin construction in the Summer 2010 with Hunter Construction Company.
REG Architects, Inc. announces several new project collaborations with the City of Boynton Beach CRA. The Sara Sims Park Master Plan integrating the existing park geography and road network to create an environmental, social and economically sustainable park plan with a future butterfly statue to be located on the NW corner of the site. The Relocation and Adaptive Reuse of the Historic Cottage currently located at 1st Avenue & 1st Street, to E. Ocean Avenue and 4th Street, for a new commercial function. And, a feasibility study for the redevelopment of the Old High School in Boynton Beach as the anchor for a cultural civic campus with new office space and supporting cultural and retail space next to the existing government center. We are proud to be helping the City of Boynton Beach with these fantastic community projects.
REG Architects, Inc. also announces the Wellington Amphitheater and Scott’s Place Park project located at the Wellington Town Center in Wellington, Florida. A new state-of-the-art Amphitheatre Pavilion in a barrier free park-like setting at the new Village of Wellington Civic Campus. Scott’s Place Park opened March 1, 2010 while the amphitheater is currently under development and will be ready to support its first public event on July 3, 2010.
