Established in 1988 by a father and son architectural team.
Who We Are
Founded in 1988 through the partnership of father-and-son architects Rick and Ricardo Gonzalez, Sr., REG Architects was built on a shared passion for architecture, community, and service. What began as a family-led practice has grown into a trusted firm serving public and private sector clients throughout Florida.
Now in its third generation of leadership, REG continues a legacy of designing places that strengthen communities, respect local character, and create lasting value. For nearly four decades, we have partnered with developers, municipalities, educational institutions, and community organizations to deliver thoughtful, context-driven design solutions.
What We Do
Serving the State of Florida, we provide architecture, interior design, master planning, and historic preservation services across civic, educational, commercial, residential, religious, hospitality, and historic project types. Our practice is grounded in integrity, teamwork, and design excellence, advancing our commitment to creating meaningful environments that leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
We approach every project as a collaboration, working closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to develop design solutions that are responsive, practical, and grounded in context. From early planning and concept design through construction administration, we focus on aligning vision, budget, and long-term performance. At every stage, our goal is to deliver thoughtful, well-executed architecture that serves its purpose today and continues to add value well into the future.
Our Impact
At REG, we believe architecture has the power to shape communities for generations. Our work is driven by a responsibility to preserve what is meaningful, improve what exists, and thoughtfully design what comes next. Guided by integrity, respect, and collaboration, we measure success not only by the quality of our designs, but by the lasting value they bring to the people and places they serve.
Across Florida, our projects contribute to the civic, cultural, and economic fabric of the communities we serve. From restoring historic landmarks to delivering modern commercial developments and civic campuses, we help clients create environments that support public and private life, strengthen local identity, and encourage long-term growth.
