Now serving as a Cultural Arts Center, this historic project underwent extensive exterior restoration to the building’s envelope, replacement of new historic approved hurricane impact windows through-out, as well as a renovation to the first-floor restroom making it ADA compliant. The entire exterior of the building received new paint throughout after extensive patch work to the stone and stucco was completed to fill cracks and chips as well as after the window and door replacements. Extreme care was taken when removing the old windows and door shutters around the exterior so as not to damage the unique cast stone medallions.
Client: Martin County Board of County Commissioners
Type: Civic, Historic, Cultural
