This project consisted of the renovation to an existing 28,000sf transfer station, construction of a new 93,000sf transfer station, and new office/multipurpose training building for the client. The design elements and features of the large transfer stations help to minimize its industrial appearance with its Caribbean detailing. Some of these elements include wooden brackets, louvers, decorative tile features, moldings, and trim that help humanize the building’s elevations.
